About Your Workplace

We are seeking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Financial Controller to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency across various domains including financial controlling, audits, procurement support and finance business partnering. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive and collaborative, with a strong foundation in finance and experience working across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit support: Assist the Head of Finance in managing external and internal audits; ensure timely and accurate documentation and compliance.
• Accounting: Support month-end close processes and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in collaboration with our shared service team based in Poland.
• Payments & Approvals: Approve payments and ensure invoices have a correspondent PR/ PO approved by cost center managers.
• Cost Centre Management: Maintain the cost centre structure in line with the organizational changes, update approvals flow and remove inactive users.
• Forecasting & Budgeting: Monthly P&L reviews with the Budget holders to track and explain variances vs Budget.
• Procurement Collaboration: Partner with MXA and Procurement teams to streamline purchasing processes and resolve bottlenecks.
• Facilities & Asset Management: Conduct asset reconciliations with the Facility manager and verify that purchases are aligned with the procurement policy.
• E-commerce Business Partnering: Collaborate with the D2C and Global Finance teams to ensure accurate regional revenue and contribution reporting.
• Ad-hoc Financial Support: Provide ongoing assistance on budgeting/ forecasting, month-end close, PR/PO processes, accounting treatments, and tax matters.

Competencies/Skills for position:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in financial control, or accounting roles.
• Knowledge of Dutch and/ or German GAAP preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
