Junior Financial Controller

We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the financial administration and help ensure that the company’s financial records are accurate, complete and compliant.

You will assist with accounting processes, financial reporting, and the month-end closing process. Working closely with the finance team, you will help maintain financial data, support audits, and contribute to improving financial processes and reporting. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their finance career who wants to develop strong accounting and financial reporting skills.

What you’ll do

• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger.

• Prepare and process journal entries and accruals.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Support the preparation of financial statements.

• Assist with the preparation and improvement of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Help maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

• Support the preparation of documentation for external audits.

• Contribute to improving financial reporting processes and internal controls.

• Take ownership of the preparation, review, and timely submission of tax filings (including VAT and corporate income tax).

• Ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Monitor tax deadlines and proactively manage fiscal risks (penalties and interest).

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good Excel skills.

• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools is a plus.

• Structured and organized way of working.

• Eagerness to learn and develop within financial accounting.

• Good communication skills.

• Fluency in English.
