Junior / Graduate Health & Safety Officer

We are seeking a motivated Junior or Graduate Health and Safety Officer to join our established Health & Safety team. This position is based in Swinford, Co. Mayo.

Responsibilities

Support the Health & Safety team in implementing safety policies and procedures.

Assist with site inspections, audits, and reporting.

Help identify potential hazards and contribute to corrective action plans.

Maintain health and safety documentation and records.

Participate in toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety briefings.

Provide administrative support to senior H&S staff as required.

Promote a positive safety culture across all departments.

The Ideal Candidate

Recently graduated or currently developing a career in Health & Safety.

Strong interest in workplace safety and compliance.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance from senior staff.

Basic understanding of health and safety legislation (an advantage but not essential).

Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Eligibility to work full-time in Ireland.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €37,019.43-€70,648.90 per year
