Junior Technical Sales Representative – Thermal Covers

This role will have a sole focus on our Thermal Covers/Removable Insulation Jackets division.

Job Purpose:

To support the growth of the business by identifying and delivering tailored insulation solutions to clients. This role bridges technical understanding and commercial opportunity by leveraging on-site experience to conduct surveys, engage with contractors and engineers, contribute to product development, and drive sales of thermal covers and related products. The Junior Technical Sales Representative – Thermal Covers will play a key role in translating site-specific challenges into innovative, value-driven solutions that meet client needs and enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits and measurement surveys to assess insulation requirements for thermal covers and related products.
• Liaise with Sales and Production Teams to support the creation and design of customised removable insulation jackets based on client needs and site conditions.
• Develop strong relationships with general contractors, site managers, and engineers.
• Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to customers.
• Manage project pipelines and maintain accurate records of leads, quotes, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with the general and technical sales teams to identify market trends and new opportunities.
• Attend relevant industry events, training sessions, and client meetings.
• Provide post-installation support and gather client feedback to inform continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2–3 years’ experience working in construction site environments, ideally with a background in insulation, or sheet metal.
• Strong understanding of site services and construction project processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to contractors, engineers, and technical teams.
• Ability to conduct site surveys, interpret technical requirements, and translate them into product solutions.
• Self-starter with a commercial mindset and a genuine interest in solving problems for clients.
• Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to client sites both within Ireland and Europe.
• Experience in insulation manufacturing, thermal products, or technical sales.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings, basic design processes, or working alongside design teams, desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and site compliance requirements.
