Kia hiwa rā! Keen to work for your iwi in some of Aotearoa's most stunning spots? We're revving up for our next intake of jet boat drivers. This is your chance to turn the throttle on a thrilling new career - no experience needed, just passion! This is no ordinary job - you'll be piloting jet boats and creating unforgettable experiences for our manuhiri from around the world.
Where you'll make a splash
We have opportunities based at Shotover Jet in Tāhuna / Queenstown, Dart River Adventures in Glenorchy, or Hukafalls Jet in Taupō.
- Shotover Jet - deliver epic 360° spins and heart-racing thrills through the dramatic Kimiākau canyons
- Dart River Adventures - navigate braided rivers through iconic landscapes, towering mountain ranges and ancient native forest
- Huka Falls Jet - take manuhiri on breath-taking rides with excitement and incredible scenery to the base of the spectacular Huka Falls
We'll help steer you to the adventure that suits you best - and we can help you get there if you're not a local.

What you'll do
- Undertake our comprehensive jet boat driver training programme to ensure you have the skills and confidence to safely take to the water
- Provide our manuhiri with unforgettable experiences, sharing the stories of our whenua and Ngāi Tahu culture
- Ensure safety is the top priority, following strict operational and safety procedures
- Perform daily boat checks and maintenance, ensuring top performance and presentation
- Assist with customer service, from greeting manuhiri to fitting life jackets
- Work alongside an awesome team, thriving in a high-energy, outdoor environment
What we're looking for
- A cool head, quick reflexes, and a love for making people grin
- Jet boat driving is active and hands-on, so we need you to be physically fit, mentally sharp and safety-focused
- Full driver's license. P endorsement is a bonus - but no stress if not, we'll help you get it
- Keen to embrace Ngāi Tahu values and te reo Māori
