Job Overview

The Kitchen Assistant supports daily kitchen operations for a pre-opening American diner specializing in Western cuisine such as burgers, pasta, fries, and grilled items.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cooks in food preparation and mise en place
• Prepare ingredients according to kitchen standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations
• Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely
• Support smooth kitchen operations during service

Qualifications

• Vocational or college-level education preferred
• With at least 1 year of kitchen experience
• Familiar with Western or American-style dishes
• Knowledgeable in food safety and sanitation
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willing to work shifting schedules
