Kitchen Assistant/Cook

We are Afro Delight Born in Nigeria, Matured in Ireland, located in the heart of Limerick City. We are passionate food lovers, that love all things food, hence why we want to bring a tease of our heritage to the new place we call home!

Duties to include general food Preparations of west African dishes, Follow HACCP procedures and ensure food hygiene and health and safety guidelines are followed and other general duties associated with working in a kitchen environment.

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of west African dishes( specifically Nigerian Dishes)
• Must have passion for food.
• Basic food Preparations skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Must be 18 and over
• Fluency in English or can somewhat speak English
• Flexibility in terms of shift pattern.
• Wednesday - Sunday opens at 1pm- 9pm so no late nights.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: €13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
