Kitchen Assistant/Porter

Job description

A position for a Kitchen Assistant/Porter has become available at the Old Quarter Gastro Pub, Limerick City.

The individual must be available from 7:30am including weekends.

The requirements will be to assist the Kitchen brigade with deliveries & general maintenance of hygiene in the kitchen and in the front & back of house areas.

Good work ethic & attention to detail in this fast paced environment.

Responsibility / Activity

The responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to the following:

· Check all kitchen and floor areas are free from waste/rubbish.

· Ensure all deliveries are accountable and safely stored away.

· Keep all exits and walkways clear and clean.

· Assist in the pot wash/wash up area.

· Assist in the waste management/recycling programme in the kitchen areas/shops.

· Implement a daily housekeeping plan on all kitchen equipment and in the general area of the kitchen.

· Assist in the set up procedures of functions etc.

· To undertake any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
