This position is in our commissary kitchen situated on Cesar chavez street and require to start at 4am.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as dough mixing, cookie recipe scaling, or viennoiserie shaping
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas and floors
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety protocols
• Support overall kitchen operations by assisting with inventory organization and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during busy shifts
• Basic culinary skills such as food prep or cooking experience are a plus but not required
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and guests
• English language is mandatory
