Kitchen Porter/Assistant (Full Time)

**No evening or night shifts**Full time position**

The role available:

• This is a full time position and the work schedule is 34-39 hours over 5 days between the hours of 8am-6pm.
• In this role, you will work between wash up and kitchen cook assistant.
• As Kitchen Porter your daily tasks will include managing the wash up area for the restaurant - washing and cleaning dishes, pots, pans etc.
• You will be responsible for maintaining the hygiene standards of the wash up area.
• You will receive goods in and assist in storing and stocking them per the restaurant procedures.
• Cleaning kitchen equipment and areas.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous kitchen porter experience preferable
• Is organised and able to manage busy work load
• Works calmly and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Personable and friendly
• Proficient level English
• Positive attitude and willing to work hard as part of a Team
• HACCP knowledge preferred but not essential – you will be trained.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Kitchen cleaning
• Willing to help out in other areas of the restaurant when the occasion arises.

• Family run business welcoming customers in Wilton Shopping Centre for over 30 years
• Open 6 days a week Mon-Sat.
• Open Sundays in November and December only.
• Opening hours: 8.00am - 6:00pm
• 60-seats

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
