Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team at our food premises in the Blackrock / Mahon area.

This is a part-time role, ideal for someone looking for flexible hours in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation where required
• Keeping workstations, storage areas, and floors clean and organised
• Ensuring waste is managed correctly and safely
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Following all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures

• Good attention to cleanliness and detail
• Previous kitchen or catering experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Reliability and punctuality are essential
