We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and close-knit team based in Thorndon, Wellington

THE ROLE

A casual position is available for an Entry Level Laboratory Technician in the Wellington Asbestos analysis team.

You’ll support the team with general lab administration, reception duties, and some sample preparation. Please note that some lifting is involved with this role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Receiving and logging samples into our system
• Supporting laboratory operations with admin and prep tasks
• Assisting the team with other duties as needed

We’re after someone who is:

• Flexible, reliable, and keen to learn
• Available at short notice
• Great for anyone wanting to grow their lab experience

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity that would also suit candidates who are studying or those looking gain experience in a laboratory setting and contribute to meaningful work in environmental safety.
