Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves working with various hand and power tools to create and maintain beautiful landscapes for our clients. As a Landscape Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of gardens and outdoor spaces.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Dig, plant, and irrigate flowers, shrubs, and trees as per design specifications.
• Build and maintain garden structures such as raised beds, trellises, and fences.
• Ensure proper irrigation systems are installed and functioning efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify any issues or areas needing attention.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Ability to dig, plant, irrigate, build, and maintain various landscape features effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
