Late Bar General Manager

The Kazbar/Davy Macs are well established and highly regarded , busy and vibrant late night venues situated in the heart of Waterford city's nightlife district. There is 5 distinct bar spaces across two adjacent premises with a capacity of 550 patrons.

During the day time the venue shifts to a coffee and bar food offering for passing footfall. We strive to offer our clients an electrifying experience .

We are seeking an experienced manager who has a proven track record in a similar operation to lead our team with a hands on approach, a good business acumen, self motivated and excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen focus on top notch service and an ability to maintain good internal/external relationships.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

• To lead from the front and oversee the day to day operations ensuring service is delivered to a high standard in a fun and professional manner. Implementing SOP's for security, bar, floor and kitchen teams.
• Promoting and coordinating events from bookings to delivery in a professional and personal manner.
• Participate in regular team and management meetings and report weekly to the company director.
• Be aware of industry trends and competitors .
• HR skills such as recruitment, selection, training and retaining a united team.
• Social media management
• Driving sales and setting and achieving financial goals
• Exercising good financial control through labour and stock management, controlling all costs and minimizing waste .
• Ensure all daily internal financial records are accurately maintained and company cash handling policies and procedures are followed.
• Comply with all legislation regarding health, safety , hygiene and licensing laws and ensuring they are followed throughout the business. Good liaison with security personnel to ensure our high standards of health and safety are implemented nightly.
• Monitor the maintenance of the premises and equipment and take action or make recommendations as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to €60,000.00 per year
