Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assisting with their laundry needs and providing excellent customer service
• Operate laundry machines, dryers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat area, including washing stations, folding areas, and surrounding spaces
• Handle cash transactions accurately using cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Monitor equipment for proper functioning; perform minor troubleshooting or report maintenance issues promptly
• Restock supplies such as detergent, fabric softener, and change for machines as needed
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for customers and staff
• Handle drop off orders for customers, wash, dry, and fold clothes

Experience

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently and efficiently
• Experience in cashiering or handling cash transactions is advantageous
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Spanish speaking
