Role Overview
Laundry Attendants at QT Queenstown play a key role in the housekeeping team, ensuring the efficient operation and cleanliness of the laundry area. This position involves processing guest laundry, staff uniforms, and linen to the highest standards while maintaining a safe, organised workspace. Attention to detail, adherence to health and safety procedures, and a commitment to exceptional service are essential in this dynamic hospitality environment.
We have Full-time and Part-time Laundry Attendant positions available (Minimum 10/20/30 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron guest laundry, staff uniforms, and linen according to standard procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe laundry area at all times.
• Operate laundry equipment and handle chemicals safely, following health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory checks to maintain par levels.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and ensure equipment is properly cared for.
• Support the Housekeeping team and other departments when required to ensure smooth operations.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping operations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness to manage a labour-intensive role.
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude with good communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
