Shabani Law is a boutique law firm with a strong focus on immigration law. We are looking for a motivated lawyer to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone with an interest in immigration and refugee law, strong drafting skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

About the role:

• Prepare and manage immigration applications
• Draft submissions and client correspondence
• Assist with refugee and protection matters
• Provide legal support across a range of immigration files
• Work closely with clients and the wider team

About you:

• Admitted, or eligible to be admitted, as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail and file management skills
• Interest in immigration law
• Ability to speak in Farsi, Hindi, or Arabic is preferred
