JOB SCOPE
The Lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a senior clinical role responsible for managing a caseload while providing mentorship and clinical guidance to newer clinicians. This position supports high-quality service delivery by overseeing assessments, treatment planning, and staff development while contributing to a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
REQUIRED KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licenses/Certifications required:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related field
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Active Behavior Specialist license in Pennsylvania
Experience required:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a BCBA
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior interventions
Supervisory experience needed:
- Experience supervising RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) and mentoring clinicians preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills (data collection systems, EHR, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
- Valid driver’s license
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIESPosition Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee a caseload of clinic-based and community-based clients while meeting billable requirements
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans based on data and clinical judgment
- Provide supervision, training, and performance feedback to RBTs and other staff
- Mentor and support newer clinicians and Behavior Specialists pursuing BCBA certification
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers, providing education and updates
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and service improvement
- Assist with center-based services and programming as needed
- Participate in company trainings and ongoing professional development
- Apply current ABA research to clinical practice
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to RBTs and junior clinicians
- Support training, onboarding, and professional development of staff
- Promote adherence to clinical best practices and ethical standards

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Demands:
- Regular standing, walking, sitting, bending, carrying, and reaching
- Frequent use of electronic devices (tablet/computer)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Ability to engage in activities of daily living
Mobility and Travel:
- Ability to navigate homes, schools, and community settings (including stairs)
- Ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions
- Frequent travel between service locations; occasional travel for meetings and trainings
