Lead Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Team Lead to oversee our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of patient care in our general practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and related fields. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage clinical operations, and a commitment to fostering a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the clinic.
• Oversee patient treatment plans, ensuring that all procedures are performed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in the development of clinical protocols and best practices for procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patients, including treatment records and progress notes.
• Utilize advanced technology such as 3D scanners for patient assessments and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with other dental professionals, including those specializing in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and more to provide comprehensive care.

Experience

• Must have experience working as a dental assistant.
• Proven experience as a dental assistant is required.
• Proficient in using 3D scanning technology and other dental equipment.
• Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and relevant terminology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
