Lead React Native Developer

At Framna, we are looking for a Lead React Native Developer who can guide teams through those decisions, balancing user experience, performance, and platform quirks, while still loving hands-on coding. You will help set the technical direction, unlock teammates, and shape products used by millions.

As our next Lead React Native Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional product team of designers, developers, QA engineers, analysts, and product leads who take ideas from first concept to real-world product. You will also take on a broader role, guiding technical decisions, coaching teammates, and ensuring the team builds with both quality and long-term thinking in mind.

On top of that you will contribute to our Cross Platform competence area, a company-wide group where app developers meet regularly to exchange knowledge, deepen their skills, and grow professionally together.

What you’ll do

This role blends hands-on engineering, technical direction, and supporting your teammates to deliver high-quality product experiences.

More specifically, you will:

• Build and maintain React Native applications used by millions of users.
• Write high-quality TypeScript and ensure your features work beautifully across both Android and iOS. To do this, we embrace and utilize both your expertise as well as AI-powered tooling.
• Drive architectural and technical decisions, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to bring concepts to life with smooth UI, thoughtful interactions, and polished app behavior.
• Navigate platform-specific challenges, and help the team understand when (and how) to leverage native modules.
• Lead technical discussions, guide trade-offs, and bring clarity when decisions get complex.
• Support teammates through code reviews, coaching, pairing, and sharing knowledge across the Cross Platform competence area.
• Work directly with partners and stakeholders to clarify needs, shape solutions, and communicate progress clearly.

• Have several years of professional mobile development experience across Android, iOS, and/or React Native.

• Can lead technical decisions, simplify complexity, and frame trade-offs clearly.
• Enjoy collaborating with designers, product leads, and partners, and you communicate with clarity.
