As part of Gallagher’s Legal team and our Centres of Excellence, this role provides hands-on legal support specifically for the Animal Management business, partnering closely with the product and sales teams to enable growth and innovation across multiple jurisdictions.

The Opportunity

This newly created role is a rare chance to make a real impact within Gallagher’s Animal Management business. Reporting into the Global Legal Lead – Animal Management, you’ll provide hands-on legal support across a wide range of commercial and strategic matters, helping the business move quickly and with confidence.

Your work will cover drafting and negotiating key commercial contracts, advising on legal queries, providing legal training, and supporting strategic initiatives including potential acquisitions and joint ventures. With no two days the same, this role offers exposure to some of the broadest and most varied legal work available in-house – and the freedom to shape it as your own.

The Fit

You’re a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys partnering with the business and operating with autonomy. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, balancing risk with pragmatism, and providing clear, solutions-focused advice.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• A current practising certificate and LLB (minimum)

• 5+ years’ commercial or corporate legal experience

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills

• Confidence working independently in an in-house or in-house-style environment

• A pragmatic, business-aligned mindset with sound judgment

• The ability to context switch and juggle multiple queries

Experience with technology, SaaS, or product-led businesses, and exposure to global or multi-jurisdictional work (especially Europe or the US), will be highly regarded. Additionally, familiarity and hands-on experience with AI is considered an asset.
