Level 2 Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by preparing patients, assisting with procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow. Experience with dental software such as Abeldent and Dexis , will be highly valued. Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry
• Take dental radiographs
• Manage patient records
• Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist when needed
• Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health regulations
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
• Familiarity with dental software
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Certification or training in dental assisting is required; as well as CPR certification and HARP certified
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of dental reception duties is advantageous
• Must be available Tuesday-Saturdays evenings incuded

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
