Linux Administrator

We are seeking a Linux Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise Linux systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across production environments. You will be responsible for day-to-day system administration, troubleshooting issues, and supporting infrastructure and application teams in a reliable and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Perform system administration tasks including user management, permissions, patching, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health and availability using monitoring tools; respond to alerts and incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues; perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Manage and support backup and recovery processes and contribute to disaster recovery planning.
• Maintain system security through hardening, updates, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support application teams with deployments, system configurations, and environment setup.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash) or scripting tools (Python/Ansible where applicable).
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps (SOPs/runbooks).
• Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux commands, file systems, and OS internals.
• Experience with scripting (Bash, basic Python) and system automation.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, firewalls).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and system logs troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
