Group Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a local currency cash specialist to join our APAC Product Management team in the Singapore office. A key position where the individual will help expand Tradeweb’s dominant footprint in the global electronic bond markets. The right individual will have sound product and market experience and be able to push the business forward, capitalising on all opportunities for growth and maximising market share. The successful candidate will be capable of building excellent relationships with key members of relevant trading and sales desks, along with a good understanding of client needs ready to integrate into Tradeweb’s Product strategy and direction for the platform. This position requires commercial insight, with a strong understanding of e-trading solutions and market / product expertise.

Job Responsibilities

• Work within the Product Management team to drive adoption of local currency cash business in terms of participation from the buy & sell side to drive revenues forward on the platform
• Candidate will be based in Singapore. They will have specific knowledge of local Government Bonds in a mix of countries, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Vietnam and Philippines
• Travel to each of these regions individually and/or with relevant sales rep to regularly engage with buy and sell side sales and trading desks in order to drive activity on the platform
• Take ownership to ensure the platform performs as expected and investigate, communicate and work with technical teams to resolve any problems
• Proactively seek opportunities to engage with Tradeweb’s dealer community, looking for ways to provide excellent client service and maintaining good working relationships on a day-to-day basis
• Implement strategy to ensure maximum dealer support of functionality/trade types is achieved and work with sales teams to promote new features and gather feedback
• Strong presentation skills with ability to conduct demonstrations of the system to a broad audience e.g. Trading, Sales, Technology or Ecommerce
• Prepare and provide regular management information; update relevant teams and senior management regularly to ensure effective and real-time global communication

Qualifications

• Significant experience within the local Government Bond markets in Asia, with a preferable background in sales or trading
• Previous business development experience with knowledge of how buy and sell side trading desks operate to drive the platforms’ business strategy
• Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and has exceptional presentation skills
• Demonstrates strong organisational skills and applies a disciplined and organised approach throughout their business
• Strong reputation with an established network
• Understanding of Fixed Income and electronic trading/e-commerce
