Locum Dentist - Owen Sound Non-Assignment Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Dentist to provide coverage at our non-assignment, busy and well-established dental clinic for a 6-week period beginning September 8th, 2025. This role is ideal for a professional looking to step into a supportive, team-oriented environment with an existing patient base and full administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry services to patients of all ages
• Perform routine examinations, hygiene checks, restorations, extractions, and emergency treatments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and front-desk staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Follow all clinic policies and procedures, including infection control protocols

Requirements:

• DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental program
• Active license to practice dentistry in Ontario
• Professional liability insurance
• Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to new clinic environments

Schedule:
Monday - Friday

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $148,500.00-$181,500.00 per year
