Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
• Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Conduct welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications.
• Execute residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Use tools such as an Ohmmeter for testing electrical components.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems.
• Proven ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Leadership skills with experience managing small teams preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
• Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus.
• Experience in fabricating parts or components is desirable.
• Welding skills are beneficial for performing necessary repairs.
• Ability to perform residential painting tasks as part of maintenance duties.
