Major Account Executive
YOU TACKLE FOR QUALITY AND GREAT SERVICE. THIS WILL IMPROVE THE LIFE OF OUR CUSTOMERS.

Overall Role Purpose

Customer Scope;

Sales Partners

  • Main contact for all Sales Partners under the Logistics Service Provider Model.

Multi-Level marketing customers

  • Develop solutions for shop and ship segment growth.

Public Sector

  • Create client relationships to uncover opportunities in the public sector.

KEY CAPABILITIES:

Skills

  • Supply chain management skills (excellent) including logistics practices, Warehouse Management, MRP, DRP, JIT, inventory control systems, ordering systems, leading edge ERP systems etc.
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Communication skills (English), spoken and written
  • Understanding of the language of business practices
  • Expected years of experience
  • 8 years experience in a service-related industry at a “senior” managerial level with international exposure.
  • Experience in DHL, or noted competitor with Express Logistics/ Transportation at a country or regional level giving comprehensive knowledge of DHL network or Network Logistics/Transportation, import and export rules and regulations in APME, Europe and North America.
  • Experience in change management, especially with regards to Services/Operations.

Educational Qualifications

Degree in Business/Marketing (or related discipline) or ten years or more of Service Logistics/Distribution experience.
