The Management Accounting Intern provides support to the business unit leaders and management in making critical business decisions by preparing, analyzing, and presenting key financial data and metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating monthly, annual, or long-term cost projections and trend analysis and expenditures
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data on operational costs and make recommendations on the company’s processes and policies to help reduce cost and maximize profit
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Logistics team and the Marketing & Product Management team to formulate the most accurate importation costs for the trading business
- Aid in regular analysis and reporting to drive product and business decisions
- Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
