Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes through effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), mechanical presses, hydraulic machinery and CNC's.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing tools to ensure equipment functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Execute welding tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support related to equipment functionality and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and assist in the analysis of equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Ability to work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Proficient in reading schematics and conducting electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with welding techniques applicable to manufacturing settings is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills for diagnosing issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and customers effectively.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
