Marine Service Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical engines and systems
• Carry out cable routing, installation, and termination work onboard vessels and in workshops
• Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve issues
• Support spare parts identification and provide recommendation when necessary
• Plan and execute electrical work requirements onboard vessels
• Perform duties both locally and overseas as required
• Prepare detailed service reports upon job completion
• Perform ad hoc tasks when required
• Please note that this job scope is primarily hands-on in nature

Requirements:

• Positive working attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Self-motivated, hardworking, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in electrical services or marine systems is preferred
• Candidates with less experience but strong learning aptitude may also be considered
• Willing to work extended hours when project timelines require

Other Information:

• 5.5 Days work week
• Performance bonuses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,500.00 - $8,000.00 per month
