Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our collaborative team and work with Microsoft Australia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic agency environment and is eager to contribute to both client success and the growth of the agency itself. You’ll be responsible for developing Microsoft-aligned messaging, executing digital campaigns, managing projects, and supporting the launch and evolution of UBE Marketing. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery across all client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Campaigns
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, nurture sequences, and newsletters
- Manage LinkedIn content calendars and create engaging posts
- Promote events, product launches, and partner success stories
Event Marketing
- Manage virtual, hybrid, and in-person events in collaboration with Microsoft and partner teams from webinars to big parties in places like Ivy or Shell House
- Develop co-branded invitations, landing pages, and post-event follow-up content
Demand Generation & Lead Nurturing
- Design and implement lead generation campaigns using CRM and automation tools
- Build nurture journeys that support Microsoft sales enablement and drive conversions
Content & Messaging
- Develop compelling, Microsoft-aligned messaging and value propositions
- Write and ghostwrite blogs, thought leadership articles, and social media content
- Align content with Microsoft’s solution plays, industry verticals, and AI-driven initiatives
MDF & Marketplace Support
- Assist in planning and executing Microsoft-funded campaigns
- Support listing creation and optimisation for Microsoft AppSource and Azure Marketplace
Media Relations & Ecosystem Engagement
- Draft press releases and pitch to Microsoft-focused media outlets
- Facilitate connections with Microsoft field teams and partner networks
Project Management & Team Collaboration
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and client communications across multiple projects
- Collaborate with internal specialists in design, strategy, and marketing technology
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture
Agency Launch & Growth
- Contribute to the successful launch and ongoing development of UBE Marketing
- Help shape internal processes, tools, and best practices as a founding team member
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B marketing or communications, preferably in the tech or SaaS sector
- Strong writing and editing skills with a portfolio of content across digital channels
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem and co-sell motions is highly desirable
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Active Campaign, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, MailChimp)
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members is an advantage
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality work

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
