Marketing Specialist (Freelance/Contract) [Korean-Japanese Speaking Required]

Responsibility:

• Execute marketing strategies to support brand positioning and customer acquisition for Japan market.
• Create and manage digital, social media, performance, and offline campaigns; monitor budget utilisation and optimise ROI.
• Support go-to-market initiatives for payment products and new feature launches.
• Ensure all marketing activities adhere to relevant regulatory requirements.
• Review campaign materials to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and risk compliance.
• Analyse campaign performance, customer insights, and market data; provide actionable recommendations and regular reports to the Senior Manager
• Coordinate with external agencies, media partners, and cross-border stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
• Conduct competitor analysis and regulatory-aware market research within Japan’s payment landscape.
• Independently manage assigned marketing projects and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

Requirement:

• Proficiency in Korean, conversant with Japanese (familiar with basic English is a plus).
• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably from the finance or payment industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and campaign analytics.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to translate strategy into effective campaigns.
• Proficiency in marketing tools GA4, GTM, GA, XAds, Hootsuite, bitly
• Adobe PS, AI, and HTML skills are an added advantage

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 6 per week
