Materials Engineering Intern

Inteva Materials Engineering Intern get the chance to learn about Materials Engineering’s role in supporting a manufacturing company, gain hands-on experience, and work on meaningful projects that make an impact. The intern in this role will work with the Materials Engineering team out of Inteva's Technical Center in Vandalia, OH.

In this position, you will support Inteva’s core value of caring for the world and our communities with group volunteering opportunities throughout the summer. Most importantly, you will have fun, learn, and grow. This is a full-time internship position during the summer semester (May 2026 - August 2026)

What Will You Get To Work On?

• Design test procedures and parameters for material & adhesive development
• Execute test procedures on different adhesive samples
• Communicate test results to product development teams
• Poential travel to customers, suppliers and other Inteva facilities
• Learn and implement multiple manufacturing processes
• Work in manufacturing plants and development lab facilities
• Hands on prototype part building
• Be a member of a development team who is working on new products
