• Shutdown or heavy industrial experience

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial machinery
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Assisting with shutdowns, upgrades, and project work
• Mechanical assembly, alignment, and component fitting
• Fault-finding and equipment adjustments
• Work on pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves & rotating equipment
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with supervisors and other trades on site

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy-industry environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Competent with hand tools, power tools & specialist equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Solid understanding of WHS practices
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $45.00 – $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week

Work Location: In person
