As a Medical Affairs Student within BD's Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Canada team, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of medical technology and clinical practice. Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Medical Affairs, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to evidence generation, product development, and training initiatives that advance medication safety and pharmacy automation. Working alongside experienced professionals and cross-functional teams, you'll play an active role in shaping innovative solutions that impact healthcare delivery across Canada.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams and experienced Medical Affairs team members to support design and process solutions for new product development projects, marketing initiatives, quality/regulatory compliance, and evidence generation related to pharmacy automation and technology.
- Complete assigned projects and present deliverables to multi-functional teams.
- Contribute to specific product and/or support teams as needed.
- Lead or collaborate on Medical Affairs research and evidence generation projects in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Design and implement ongoing training programs for Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs team members.
- Assist in developing concepts, designs, and approaches for new products, processes, or test methods.
- Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to technical and clinical audiences.
- Perform basic tasks related to Medical Affairs documentation.
- Train multi-functional teams on new processes and/or test procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience required:
- Must be currently enrolled in a qualifying Canada Pharmacy University Program in an accredited college/institution and be in good academic standing pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, combined with the ability to work the co-op term from May 11 to August 21, 2026.
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage clinical and management stakeholders
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, demonstrating exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to teach and communicate clinical data to diverse audiences.
- Skilled in collecting, analyzing, and presenting clinical data, supported by a solid understanding of medical terminology.
Preferred qualifications:
- Relevant experience in the medical technology industry is an asset, along with experience collaborating with clients in hospital, retail, and long-term care pharmacy settings.
