Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This dual-role position plays a critical part in providing administrative support and direct patient care. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our medical office, ensuring efficient workflow and delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups.
  • Handle incoming calls and provide information or redirect inquiries as necessary.
  • Assist medical staff with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, and performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Basic medical knowledge of diseases and treatments
  • Completion of clinic procedures, such as IM injections, ear irrigation, ECG
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified medical assistant program is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain patience and professionalism.
  • Empathy and a patient-centric approach to care.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
