Medical Assistant

Primary Care practice in Pleasanton is looking bi-lingual (Spanish and English speaking) candidates for a full-time Medical Assistant (32 hours per week) position.

We require a detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicants must be able to prioritize and adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner.

Job responsibilities include room set up, rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, recording patients' medical history, giving a variety of vaccinations/injections, and taking EKG's

Education should include a Medical Assistant training program degree and one (1) year of medical assisting experience.

Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or family practice is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Must be computer literate.

Experience with EMR is a plus.

License/Certification:

• Medical Assistant Diploma (Preferred)
