Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Medical Front Desk Coordinator, where your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and streamlining office operations. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks that keep our clinic running smoothly and create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and ensure efficient workflow.
What you’ll do
- Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, ensuring a positive first impression
- Updates EMR with all information needed to provide care.
- Confirms patient insurance eligibility
- Schedule appointments efficiently.
- Ensures that next day appointments are confirmed
- Collect copays and past due balances
- Prepare end of day reports
- Answer and route calls, as necessary, to appropriate individuals.
- Accurately take and deliver messages.
- Accept and sign for packages, and notify addressee of package arrival.
- Maintain patient records with precision while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect sensitive information.
- Support the clinical team with clerical duties, including filing, intake processes, and maintaining organized medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform a variety of routine clerical tasks.
- Maintain clean and orderly reception area.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
