Medical Administrator – Help Us Take Our Business to the Next Level

Hours: Part-time
About Us:
Neurodiverse Playhouse is a leading provider of play-based, evidence-informed programs for neurodivergent children. We’re on a mission to empower children, support families, and deliver exceptional allied health services. We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive, and personable Medical Administrator to be the face of our business and help us scale to the next level.
The Role:
As our Medical Administrator, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth and efficient management across all aspects of our business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and managing appointments efficiently across multiple locations.
- Processing payments and managing invoices accurately.
- Liaising with plan managers, private health insurers, Medicare, and NDIS.
- Understanding and managing service agreements with families and clients.
- Supporting allied health staff with administrative needs.
- Being the friendly, professional first point of contact for families, clinicians, and external partners.
- Supporting the Director to achieve targets
- Maintaining organised systems and contributing to process improvements as we grow.
About You:
- Experienced in allied health administration or medical administration.
- Strong understanding of private billing, private health insurance, Medicare, and NDIS processes.
- Familiarity with service agreements and allied health practice requirements.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
- Passionate about providing exceptional client service and supporting a growing, dynamic team.

Pay: $24.95 – $35.00 per hour
