Merchandising Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for a motivated individual to add to our team! Must have a positive outlook and mindset with an over goal to help the store grow and succeed. Pay will be based on experience. Job duties / traits include but are not limited to:

• Writing orders for stock inventory for various departments
• Handling minor store level H-R related situations
• Hiring and terminating employees
• Helping the other managers with mandatory company inventories
• Keep a clean & sanitary sales floor and back room
• Enforce company dress code
• Delegate tasks to employees to ensure maximum productivity
• Check on perishable departments to ensure top performance and meeting company standards
• Overseeing weekly schedules for all departments
• Calculating gross profit margins for in-store special sales
• Closing / Opening the store depending on shift
• Learning cash register to help defuse any issues that may arise or to assist when short staffed
• Merchandising product based on events / season of the year / corresponding items in the sales flyers
• Have a full-store vision to be able to manage multiple departments at one time
• Have strong people skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
