We are seeking a passionate Metallurgist or Senior Metallurgist to join our IsaMill™ Technology Team in Brisbane. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with our grinding technology and contribute to the development and implementation of the IsaMill™. Whilst the IsaMill™ will be the primary focus there will be opportunities for additional exposure to Jameson and Albion technologies. Your role will encompass technology development, test work program management, process design, equipment sizing, technical support for project delivery, site support and involvement in R&D initiatives. You will report directly to the Manager of IsaMill™ and OxiLeach. The role will include travel, both domestic and internation.

You will be responsible for:

• Support the development, marketing, investigation, and implementation of the IsaMill™ and our other technologies.
• Design, oversee, and assist with test work programs and equipment/plant design.
• Provide technical assistance for project delivery and commissioning.
• Offer ongoing support to technology users and key stakeholders.
• Lead and train more junior members of the technology team
• Generate and present technical papers, short courses, and presentations to key stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or Mineral Processing.
• At least five years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on minerals processing.
• Australian working rights
• Experience in operations and grinding circuit design would be viewed favorably.
• Regrind experience and/or knowledge of IsaMills or other key grinding technologies (operational or technical).
• Additional experience in flotation and hydrometallurgy is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jameson Cell and/or Albion technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical and commercial issues with clients.
