Mobile Application Developer Intern

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Mobile Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with both engineering and maintenance work. You will be responsible for implementing visual aspects that users see and interact with within the mobile application as an application developer, making your work important to the success of our business. Objectives of this Role

• Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on the long-term technology roadmap
• Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs
• Develop and oversee testing schedules in a client-server environment, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various devices display the desired content
• Produce quality code, raising the bar for the whole team on quality and speed
• Recommend system solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Write quality code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and analyze bottlenecks
• Consume developed APIs to support and enhance user experience
• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud
• Optimization of mobile applications for performance, stability, and scalability
• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Computer science degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years work experience as a Mobile Developer
• Experience writing highly secure mobile applications and familiarity with the JSON format
• Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies, Git, Linux, and Mac OS
• Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas
• Experience with large e-commerce or site architecture, iOS development a plus
• Experience with algorithms, Flutter, Swift, Android, Dart, Webview, HTML, Javascript, and Cross-Platform development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using jQuery and consuming RESTful APIs, architectural patterns — MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture—and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
• Experience working with a team and good project management skills
• Experience understanding application development cycle
• Author technical documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: ₦30,000.00 per month
