Morning Operations Dispatcher

About Us:

We are a premier Step-On Coach Tour operator specializing in guided elevated experiences to Vancouver, Whistler, and Victoria. Our coach drivers and professional guides deliver seamless, safe, and memorable experiences for each of our guests.

The Role:

We are looking for an early-rising, cool-under-pressure Morning Dispatcher to own our peak operational hours. You will be the central nervous system of the morning shift—ensuring guides have their materials, guests are confirmed, and pickups run on time.

Unlike a standard dispatch role, you will also shift gears mid-morning to plan the next day’s routes, handle guest communications, and close out the operational loop.

Key Responsibilities:

Morning Prep & Activation

• Prepare tour bins with all materials for guides
• Check emails and booking system; contact guests who have not confirmed

Traffic Control (Peak Dispatch)

• Maintain live contact with guides and drivers during pickups
• Notify guests of delays or emergencies
• Check in all guests on booking system

Planning & Guest Resolution

• Create pickup map for the following day
• Get map approval (Operations Manager / Drivers)
• Send auto-confirmation emails and texts to guests once map is approved
• Reply to guest inquiries and reviews

What We’re Looking For

• Available to start work at 6:00am daily, May 1-October 15
• Comfortable with software like Ventrata (training available)
• Strong written communication for guest texts/emails
• Calm under pressure (delays, missed pickups, last-minute changes)
• Previous dispatch, tour operations, or logistics experience is a plus

We Offer

• Competitive hourly rate: $22/hour
• Consistent early shift – afternoons free.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5.5 months

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
