Multinational Account Executive

AXA XL is looking for an insurance professional to take a key role in servicing our Multinational clients across multiple lines of business, including Marine and Financial Lines, in Australia.
The role will include servicing large and complex projects. The right candidate will be able to draw upon a solid background of insurance knowledge and administration skills.
You will have the support of highly qualified & experienced colleagues in the Multinational Solutions team, who enjoy what they do a great deal, are able to have fun, and believe that creativity exists in finding solutions to complex problems.
It will be important to be visible and approachable to underwriters and brokers alike. Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with collaborative behaviour will be essential to the role.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Become the Subject Matter Expert for all matters Multinational.
- Work collaboratively with the offshore teams who provide processing and credit control services.
- Develop deep knowledge of systems and processes and keep abreast of new guidelines.
- Build meaningful relationships with colleagues around the world.
- Monitoring financial bookings accuracy via reports.
- At request of Underwriting, ensure timely and high-quality implementation of mid-term endorsements, issuance of certificates of insurance and focus on premium collection monitoring (according to the processing rules and guidelines, incl. system data entries).
- Address requests originating from client/broker immediately and refer to Underwriters if required.
- Ensure data quality accuracy ratios meet the defined level/metrics.
You will report to the Team Lead – Multinational Solutions Team; Sydney, Australia.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
- Understands the importance of why, and getting the little detail’s right.
- This is a technical role that also requires in depth soft skills, and a customer service approach, so the candidate must be able to work in a data and deadline-driven environment and be able to communicate effectively.
- A continuous improvement outlook, a willingness to ask questions and explore new ideas is highly valued.
- Must be happy to work autonomously and enjoy collaborating with team members, often in a virtual environment.
- Prior experience in corporate insurance, with previous experience in or a desire to learn about Multinational Solutions Services / International Policies / Global Programs would be highly valued.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel.
