About the Family

A warm and welcoming young family based in Bayswater, WA are seeking a nurturing and attentive nanny to support them two days per week on an ongoing basis caring for their 4 month old baby boy.
Dad works outside the home, and Mum is a stay-at-home parent who will generally be present, occasionally popping out. They value open-mindedness, attentiveness and thorough care, and are looking for someone who will complement their relaxed yet thoughtful household dynamic.
The family also have two affectionate French Bulldogs. No pet care is required, however the nanny must be comfortable around dogs as they enjoy being close by.

The Role

This position involves caring for the baby, with the day centred around his natural routine of sleep, wake, feed, change and play.
A typical day may include:

• Feeding and settling
• Nappy changes
• Age-appropriate play and interaction
• Supporting developmental milestones
• Maintaining a calm and nurturing environment
• Light child-related tidying if time permits

The focus of this role is responsive, gentle and attentive infant care within a supportive home environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a nanny or in childcare related role
• Young infant experience
• Current First Aid CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Current Working With Children Check
• Non-smoking
• Comfortable with dogs
