About the Internship

We host the NIRA Engineering Summer Internship each year to bring new talent into our growing team. This internship is designed to immerse you in our core business, offer hands-on engineering experience, and help you start building a strong professional network.

You’ll work on real-world engineering projects involving various exciting challenges. Whether developing onboard systems used by top car manufacturers or advancing cloud-based solutions for autonomous vehicles, you’ll apply your skills in a meaningful way. Project focus areas and technologies are tailored to your studies and interests, and may include C, C++, MATLAB, Python, Bazel, Jenkins, Java, React.js, k8s, Airflow, and more.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: BSc or MSc student in Applied Physics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Skills: Curiosity for technology, problem-solving drive, and a strong academic track record
• Communication: Fluent in English (spoken and written), team-oriented, and an effective communicator
• Independence: Able to take initiative, turn ideas into action, and work independently
