From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

  • Assist the establishment of standard work by understanding the current baseline, defining the best practice and aligning the standard process to be used across sites.

  • Create Standard Operating Procedure, Master and Detailed Job Instructions for tool/fixture design process.

  • Update Quality Control Work Instruction to incorporate digitalization improvements.

  • Update Value Stream Map per standard work.

Ideal Candidate

An ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented continuous improvement professional with strong process documentation skills who can establish and align standard work across sites, develop and maintain clear SOPs and job instructions for tool/fixture design, and update quality and value stream documentation to reflect digitalization enhancements and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is preferred.

  • Able to interpret engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

  • Understanding of Lean principles is preferred.

  • Experience with Computed-Aided Design with established capability is preferred.
