One Assistant Restaurant Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the management team. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
  • Supervise staff including interviewing, training, scheduling, and evaluating team members to foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained according to health regulations.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to guarantee quality and consistency.
  • Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Support customer service efforts by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests when necessary and ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on food presentation and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including food safety standards and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant management, with supervisory or team management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff members.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations including kitchen processes, food industry standards, and hospitality practices.
  • Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: Up to $36.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
