Some of the things you´ll do
As the Operations Manager you will lead CAM production operations and industrialization efforts at Altris Overseas Cathode facility, ensuring efficient scaling, process optimization, and seamless collaboration between Altris and the external partners' team. Build Altris’ internal capacity by capturing and utilizing industrialization learnings.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Project manage the relationship with Altris' external Manufacturing partner and be responsible for technical deliverables
- Responsible for setting up end to end production collaboration and ways of working with manufacturing partner
- Oversee production integration, optimizing workflows and driving efficiency.
- Enable 2-way learning from both Altris Internal advancements and External Manufacture experience to foster continual learning and feeback
- Scale pilot processes to commercial production while ensuring quality and HSE compliance.
- Capture key industrialization learnings and document best practices for internal use.
- Develop internal capacity and expertise to support future industrialization efforts.
- Lead resource planning, workforce training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for build up of localised teams to support and oversee production
- Monitor KPIs, troubleshoot challenges, and report progress to leadership.
What we´re looking for
We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader with a background in operations and manufacturing. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong eye for detail, and are passionate about sustainable innovation.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the battery, chemical, or materials manufacturing sectors.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in scaling production processes is a plus.
