Optical Assistant Manager

We are a family owned and operated eye health center in the Aurora community. We have been in practice for over 5 years and continue to passionately educate our patients on eye health practices. We are looking for a positive, motivated and energetic Assitant Manager who desires to grow and advance with our practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Review Physician’s prescriptions and order based on medical charts
• Operate automated lensometer and other tools to achieve proper fittings for patients
• Sales and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses
• Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences
• Track and implement KPIs/goals
• Create progress reports
• Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames
• Making frame adjustments and repairs as needed
• Pretesting using auto-refractor, visual field analyzer, retinal camera (Optos)
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
• Experience preferred
